Goddess of Hunting. Artemis carried a silver bow and hunted in the forests and mountains with skill and speed. She protected wild animals and the natural world.

Twin of Apollo. Artemis was the sister of Apollo, the sun god. While Apollo represented the sun and music, Artemis represented the moon and the wilderness.

Leader of Nymphs. She traveled with a group of nymph companions who served her and shared her love of nature, forests, and hunting adventures.

Protector of Nature. Artemis watched over wild animals, plants, and natural places. Ancient Greeks believed she kept the forests safe and balanced.

Helper of Children. Despite being a fierce hunter, Artemis also cared for young people and helped with childbirth and protecting young animals.
