Covered shopping streets. Bazaars are built under vaults or roofs with doors at each end, which keeps shoppers cool and dry while they wander through the maze of tiny stalls.

Found across Asia and Africa. Bazaars are especially common in West Asia, North Africa, the Balkans, Central Asia, and South Asia, where they've been trading hubs for hundreds of years.

City's main marketplace. Long before shopping malls existed, bazaars were where everyone in a city came to buy food, clothes, spices, carpets, and almost anything else you could imagine.

Hundreds of tiny shops. Instead of a few big stores, a bazaar has tons of small stalls run by different merchants, each one selling their own special goods side by side.
