Caribbean coastline neighbor. Belize sits on the northeastern coast of Central America where the Caribbean Sea meets Mexico and Guatemala, making it a unique bridge between these countries.

Maritime borders galore. Besides being surrounded by Mexico, Guatemala, and the Caribbean Sea, Belize also shares a water border with Honduras to the southeast, giving it multiple neighbors.

British colonial roots. Belize has a special connection to British history as part of the Caribbean Commonwealth, a legacy from when it was a British colony called British Honduras.
