Bubble Tea

Born in Taiwan. Bubble tea started in Taiwan during the 1980s and quickly became super popular all over the world, especially in places with lots of East Asian families.

Tapioca ball magic. Those chewy balls at the bottom are made from tapioca, which comes from a starchy plant root, and they're cooked until they're soft and bouncy.

Tea plus customization. The drink starts with real tea, then gets mixed with milk or other liquids and flavored with things like fruit, honey, or chocolate to match whatever you like.

More than just flavor. Bubble tea is fun because drinking it is an experience, not just a taste, since you get to chomp through the tapioca balls while you sip.
