Massive and mighty. Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco with over 3 million people living in the city itself, and more than 4 million in the greater area around it.

Business hub. The city is Morocco's economic and business centre, meaning it's where most of the country's money and important work happens.

Coastal location. Casablanca sits right on the Atlantic Ocean coast in the central-western part of Morocco, making it a major port city.

Mega-important region. It's not just big in Morocco, it's the ninth-largest city in the entire Arab world and the most populous city in the whole Maghreb region (which includes several North African countries).
