Cloud-like coat. Clouded leopards have dusky-grey blotches and irregular spots that look like clouds scattered across their fur, which is exactly how they got their name.

Perfect tree tail. With a head-and-body length of about 27 to 43 inches, their tail stretches 24 to 36 inches long, acting like a tightrope walker's balance pole when they move through tree branches.

Expert climbers. These cats are built for life in the trees, with their special markings helping them blend into the dappled shadows of the forest canopy.
