Einiosaurus

Plant-eating dino. Einiosaurus munched on plants and leaves all day long, using its powerful jaws to chomp down on the trees and shrubs of ancient Montana.

Curving horn feature. This dinosaur had a special forward-curving horn on its head, which is what its scientific name 'procurvicornis' means in Latin. The horn probably helped it defend itself and show off to other Einiosaurus in its herd.

Medium-sized dino. At about 15 feet long, Einiosaurus was smaller than a school bus but still way bigger than a modern rhinoceros. That made it a medium-sized dinosaur compared to the real giants of the Cretaceous.

Montana home. Einiosaurus lived in northwestern Montana during the Upper Cretaceous period, in forests and plains where many other dinosaurs roamed together. This dinosaur was part of a group called centrosaurines, which were known for their fancy head decorations.
