A gigantic wolf. Fenrir is not just any wolf, he is a monstrous creature in the stories told by ancient Norse people. He is so large and powerful that the gods feared him greatly.

Bound by magic. The gods tried to control Fenrir by binding him with magical chains. The most famous chain is called Gleipnir, which was made from impossible things like the sound of a cat's footstep and the beard of a woman.

Ends the world. According to Norse mythology, during a final battle called Ragnarök, Fenrir will break free from his chains and fight against the gods. He is destined to kill Odin, the king of all the gods.

Brings destruction. When Fenrir breaks loose, he will open his huge jaws so wide that his upper jaw touches the sky and his lower jaw touches the earth. His role in Ragnarök helps set the world on fire and brings about the collapse of everything.

Born of a giant. Fenrir is the son of Loki, a trickster giant in Norse mythology, which explains why he became such a fearsome and dangerous creature.
