Massive prayer space. This mosque in Casablanca, Morocco can hold up to 105,000 worshippers at once, with 25,000 praying inside the main hall and 80,000 more gathered outside on the ground.

Super tall minaret. The minaret (the tall tower) reaches 210 meters high, making it the second tallest minaret in the entire world, and it's as tall as a 60-story building.

Laser pointing to Mecca. The top of the minaret is crowned with a special laser that shoots a beam of light toward Mecca, the holiest city in Islam, every single night.

Built by the ocean. The mosque sits on a rocky point overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, so worshippers can pray while facing the sea, though there's no glass floor to look down into the water.

Handcrafted beauty. The walls are made of handcrafted marble, and the roof can actually retract open to the sky, all built by skilled Moroccan artisans from across the kingdom and completed in 1993.
