Loves honey most. Honey badgers will raid beehives to eat honey and bee larvae, and their thick skin protects them from stings. They're one of the few animals brave enough to face angry bees.

Incredibly tough. These small but mighty animals can fight off lions, snakes, and other predators many times their size. They have thick, loose skin that makes it hard for enemies to grab them.

Live across continents. Honey badgers are found in Africa, Southwest Asia, and India. They adapt to different habitats from deserts to forests.

Special badger family. The honey badger is the only living member of its subfamily, Mellivorinae, which makes it unique among all the badgers and weasels in the world.

Super clever foragers. They use smart problem-solving to find food, remembering where beehives are located and figuring out how to open difficult containers and burrows.
