Deliciously sweet flowers. Honeysuckles get their name because you can actually peel back the flower and sip a tiny drop of sweet nectar from inside, which tastes a bit like honey.

Grows all over the North. With 158 different species, honeysuckles are native to North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, thriving in forests, gardens, and wild spaces.

Twining and arching growth. Some honeysuckles are sturdy shrubs that stand on their own, while others are climbing vines that twist and turn around trees, fences, and other plants as they grow.

Pollinator favorite. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds can't resist honeysuckle flowers and visit them constantly to drink the nectar, helping the plant make seeds.

Berries for wildlife. After the flowers fade, honeysuckles produce small berries that birds and other animals eat, helping spread the seeds to new places.
