Symbol of good luck. In many cultures, people keep jade plants in their homes because they believe the plant brings wealth and good fortune. Some people even call it the "money tree."

From South Africa. Jade plants originally grew wild in the KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape regions of South Africa and in Mozambique before people started growing them all over the world.
