Ancient Arctic invention. The word kayak comes from an Inuit word, and the Inuit people invented kayaks hundreds of years ago to hunt and travel on icy Arctic waters.

You power it. Kayaks have no motor or sail, only your own strength and skill with the paddle to make them go where you want.
