Lemon Shark

Bright yellow color. Lemon sharks get their name from their yellowish-golden skin, which makes them stand out from most other sharks that are gray or blue.

Born live. Instead of laying eggs like some fish, mother lemon sharks give birth to live baby sharks called pups, which is pretty unusual in the shark world.

Super intelligent. Lemon sharks are considered one of the smartest shark species and can learn, remember things, and even recognize individual humans.

Coastal hunters. These sharks live in warm, shallow coastal waters and sandy areas where they hunt for fish and smaller animals.

Social sharks. Unlike most sharks that live alone, lemon sharks often swim together in groups, making them pretty social compared to other shark species.
