Candy on a stick. A lollipop is hard candy attached to a wooden or plastic stick, designed so you can hold it while you enjoy the sweet taste without getting your hands sticky.

Many names around the world. In some countries, people call them lollies or suckers instead of lollipops, even though they're basically the same candy.
