Ancient beauties. Magnolias are some of the oldest flowering plants on Earth, with fossils showing they've been around for millions of years. They existed long before most other flowering plants we know today.

Split across the world. Magnolias grow naturally in two main regions: Asia (especially east and southeast) is home to the most species, while Central America, South America, the Caribbean, and eastern North America have their own magnolia varieties.

Huge plant family. There are between 210 and 340 different magnolia species, making it one of the largest groups of flowering plants. Each species has its own special qualities and looks.

Stunning flowers. Magnolias produce some of nature's most gorgeous blooms in shades of white, pink, and purple. Their flowers often appear before the leaves grow in spring, creating breathtaking displays.
