Weather detectives. Meteorologists use tools like weather balloons, radar, and satellites to collect information about what's happening in the sky. Then they analyze all this data to figure out what the weather will be like tomorrow or next week.

Math and models. Some meteorologists use powerful computers and complex math to create weather models that predict rain, snow, wind, and temperature. These predictions help people prepare for storms and plan their days.

Storm scientists. Meteorologists study dangerous weather like hurricanes, tornadoes, and thunderstorms to understand how they form and how to warn people before they arrive.

Atmosphere experts. They research Earth's atmosphere to understand how it works, how it's changing over time, and why certain patterns happen in different parts of the world.

Forecast makers. Weather forecasters are meteorologists who use all their knowledge and computer models to create the daily weather reports you see on TV or your phone.
