Masters of Disguise. The mimic octopus can change its color, texture, and shape to look like many different animals. It uses special cells called chromatophores that let it shift its appearance in seconds.

Copycat Expert. Unlike other animals that just blend into their surroundings, the mimic octopus actually pretends to be other sea creatures like lionfish, sea snakes, and flounder. It's the ultimate imposter.

Ocean Escape Artist. This clever octopus lives in the Indo-Pacific region, which stretches across the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. When predators get too close, it instantly transforms into something that looks dangerous or poisonous.
