Two-tier drop. Multnomah Falls tumbles down basalt cliffs in two separate sections, creating one of the most dramatic waterfall views in the entire Pacific Northwest.

Tallest in Oregon. At 620 feet tall, Multnomah Falls is the highest waterfall in the entire state of Oregon, which is pretty amazing when you think about how many waterfalls exist there.

Basalt rock layers. The waterfall crashes down through ancient basalt cliffs, which are dark volcanic rock that was formed millions of years ago.

Historic bridge below. A beautiful stone bridge called the Multnomah Creek Bridge was built way back in 1914 and still stands beneath the falls today, letting visitors get an incredible close-up view.
