Huge and hungry. Muskies are the largest fish in the pike family, growing big enough to dominate their lakes and rivers. They're fierce hunters that eat just about any fish they can catch.

Hard to catch. Anglers love trying to catch muskies because they're strong fighters and incredibly hard to fool. Many people spend their whole lives pursuing one prize muskie.

North American native. Muskies live naturally in freshwater lakes and rivers across North America, from Canada down through the United States. Different regions have slightly different varieties of this impressive fish.

Sharp hunting machine. With a long snout packed with sharp teeth, a muskie is built perfectly to ambush and catch other fish. They lie quietly in weeds and then strike with lightning speed.

Record breaker. Some muskies grow so large they become legendary among fishermen, with the biggest ones weighing over 70 pounds.
