Seven players per team. Each team has exactly seven players on the court working together to move the ball down the court and score goals. Every player has a specific position with different responsibilities.

Shoot through rings. Instead of shooting a ball into a basket like in basketball, netball players must throw the ball through a high ring (goal ring) that has no backboard. The ring is 10 feet high and attached to a pole.

Created for women. Netball is one of the few sports in the world that was invented specifically for women and girls, making it special and giving women their own space to play competitively.

Played worldwide. More than 20 million people in over 80 countries play netball, with the sport being especially popular in Commonwealth nations like Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Non-stop action. Netball is played on both indoor and outdoor courts, and players constantly move, pass, and defend as the ball travels rapidly from one end of the court to the other.
