Cool Facts
Ghosts chase you. Four colored ghosts named Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Sue patrol the maze trying to catch Pac-Man. Each ghost has its own personality and hunting style, making them unpredictable opponents.
Power Pellets save you. When you eat the big flashing dots scattered around the maze, the ghosts turn blue and become vulnerable. This is your chance to turn the tables and eat the ghosts for bonus points.
Born in 1980. Pac-Man was created by Namco in Japan and became a worldwide sensation in arcades. The game was originally called Puck Man, but the name was changed for the American release to avoid vandalism of the arcade cabinets.
Eat all the dots. Your mission is to navigate through the enclosed maze and gobble up every single dot before the ghosts catch you. Once you clear one maze, the next level gets even trickier.
Strategy matters most. Pac-Man isn't just about running away randomly. Smart players learn the ghost patterns and use the maze walls to escape, making it as much about thinking as it is about quick reflexes.
