Park Güell

Designed by Gaudí. The park was created by Antoni Gaudí, one of the most creative architects ever, who made buildings look like they grew from the earth itself rather than being built from plans.

Covered in colorful tiles. The park is famous for its stunning mosaics made from broken ceramic tiles in brilliant blues, greens, yellows, and reds that shimmer in the Spanish sun.

Built on a hillside. Park Güell sits on the southern slope of Turó del Carmel hill in the mountains overlooking Barcelona, giving visitors amazing views of the entire city below.

Parks and gardens. The complex combines wild, natural landscaping with artistic structures, so you see curved walls, winding paths, and playgrounds mixed together with olive trees and stone forests.

Artistic playground. Instead of looking like regular park buildings, everything curves and twists in surprising ways, with benches shaped like creatures and gatehouses that seem to belong in a fairy tale.
