Twin giants. The Petronas Towers are two identical 88-story buildings in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia that stand 451.9 meters tall. They're connected by a famous skybridge that lets people walk between them.
Former champions. From 1998 to 2004, these towers held the title of world's tallest building until Taiwan's Taipei 101 took over. For six years, they were the most impressive skyscrapers on the planet.
Twin champions forever. Even though other buildings have grown taller, the Petronas Towers will always hold the record as the world's tallest twin skyscrapers. No other paired buildings have ever reached their height.
City landmark. The towers are so iconic that you can spot them from many places around Kuala Lumpur and they've become the symbol of Malaysia's modern skyline.
