How It Works. One player is chosen to be the caller. Everyone else dances around freely, but when the caller shouts 'Statues!' all the other players must freeze in whatever position they're in and stay perfectly still.

Testing Your Stillness. The caller walks around looking for anyone who moves, giggles, or breaks position. If someone moves, they're usually out or become the new caller. The game keeps going until only one excellent statue player remains.

Around the World. Different countries and regions have their own versions of Statues with different names and slight rule changes, but the main idea is always about staying frozen.

More Than Just Fun. The game helps kids develop control over their bodies, teaches them to listen carefully to instructions, and builds focus and self-control through the challenge of not moving.

Creative Twist. Some versions let kids pick silly or creative poses before they freeze, making it a game that mixes dance, acting, and the fun challenge of holding perfectly still.
