Biggest tiger around. Siberian tigers are the largest tigers in the world, perfectly built for hunting in cold, snowy forests where few other predators can survive.

Freezing home. These tigers live in the Sikhote-Alin mountains of Russia's Far East and parts of northeastern China, where winters are brutally cold and the landscape is wild and remote.

Nearly extinct. Siberian tigers were hunted almost to extinction and disappeared completely from Korea by 1945, but thanks to intense protection efforts, their numbers have been slowly growing.

Population comeback. In 2022, scientists counted around 756 Siberian tigers living in Russia, including about 200 cubs, which shows the conservation work is helping them recover.

Mountain wilderness. These tigers need huge territories of dense forest to hunt deer and wild boar, so protecting vast stretches of untouched land is key to their survival.
