Official South African money. The rand is what people in South Africa use to buy things, pay for school, and save their allowance. It's the official currency of the entire country.

Comma separates amounts. When South Africans write money amounts, they use a comma to separate the rands from the cents, so 50,75 means 50 rands and 75 cents.
