Vehicles need rules.. Cars, buses, trucks, and motorcycles all follow traffic laws like speed limits and stop signs so they don't crash into each other. These rules make roads safer for everyone.

Lights control flow.. Traffic lights use red, yellow, and green signals to tell drivers and pedestrians when it's their turn to go, kind of like a conductor leading an orchestra.

Pedestrians are traffic too.. When you walk on sidewalks and cross streets, you're part of traffic just like cars are, and you need to follow rules like waiting for walk signals.

Cities get congested.. When lots of people all travel at the same time, like during rush hour, roads get packed and movement slows down, which is called congestion.

Roads need planning.. City planners design streets, highways, and intersections to handle the amount of traffic they expect, trying to make routes as smooth and safe as possible.
