Super rare gas. Xenon floats around in Earth's atmosphere, but there's barely any of it, so you'll never see it just floating around in normal air.

Totally invisible and odorless. You can't see xenon and you can't smell it, which makes it one of the sneakiest elements on the periodic table.

The stubborn element. Xenon is a noble gas, which means it almost never wants to react with other elements because it's super happy being by itself.

Made history in chemistry. Scientists created the first ever compound with a noble gas by getting xenon to combine with fluorine and platinum, which was a huge deal.

Heavy and powerful. Xenon is dense and has atomic number 54, making it one of the heavier elements that still exists as a gas at normal temperatures.
