Tenth highest peak. Annapurna stands 8,091 meters tall, making it the 10th highest mountain in the world. That's almost as high as five Mount Everests stacked on top of each other.

Located in Nepal. Annapurna is part of the Annapurna mountain range in Gandaki Province in north-central Nepal, nestled in the amazing Himalayan Mountains.

Extremely dangerous climb. Climbers consider Annapurna one of the toughest mountains to summit because of steep slopes, unpredictable weather, and avalanches. Many experienced mountaineers have attempted it, making it both thrilling and risky.

Mountain range neighbor. Annapurna is part of a whole mountain range with the same name, surrounded by other enormous peaks in the Himalayas.
