Aucasaurus

Medium-sized hunter. Aucasaurus was a theropod dinosaur that hunted in Argentina during the Late Cretaceous period, making it smaller than its relative Carnotaurus but still a powerful predator.

Extremely tiny arms. This dinosaur had incredibly reduced arms with almost no fingers, making them even more shrunken than Carnotaurus's already puny limbs.

Nearly complete skeleton. When scientists discovered Aucasaurus in 2002, they found one of the most complete abelisaurid skeletons ever, with bones preserved all the way down the spine to the thirteenth tail bone.

Battle-scarred skull. The dinosaur's damaged skull makes paleontologists think Aucasaurus may have been in a fierce fight before it died and became fossilized.
