Four wheels and engines. Most cars have four wheels and a motor that makes them go. They're designed to carry between 1 and 8 people, with the driver sitting in front to steer.

Billions of cars exist. There are over 1.6 billion cars driving around the world right now! That's almost one car for every five people on Earth.

Built for roads. Cars are specially made to travel on roads, which makes them different from vehicles like trucks (which carry heavy cargo) or buses (which move lots of people at once).

Powerful transportation. The motor in a car burns fuel or uses electricity to create power that spins the wheels and pushes the car forward down the street.
