Feels real but isn't. When you ride a spinning carnival ride, you feel pushed toward the outside. But centrifugal force isn't really pushing you. It only appears to exist because you're in a spinning frame of reference.
Depends on your viewpoint. If you're standing still watching someone spin, you don't see centrifugal force at all. Only the person who is spinning experiences it. This makes it a 'fictitious force' because it depends on where you are looking from.
Pulls from the center. What's really happening is something called centripetal force, which pulls toward the center of the spin and keeps things moving in circles. Centrifugal force is just how that pull feels from the inside of the spin.
Speed and distance matter. The faster something spins and the farther you are from the center, the stronger the centrifugal force feels. A toy on a long string spinning fast will feel a much bigger outward push than one spinning slowly close to the middle.
