Cyclopes

One giant eye. Cyclopes are enormous creatures with just a single eye in the middle of their forehead, which makes them instantly recognizable in Greek mythology and ancient stories.

Divine blacksmiths. Three special Cyclopes brothers named Brontes, Steropes, and Arges were skilled craftspeople who forged incredible magical weapons for the gods, including Zeus's thunderbolt, Poseidon's trident, and Hades' special Helm of Darkness.

Wild cave dwellers. The Cyclopes in Homer's famous Odyssey story were rough shepherds who lived in caves and didn't follow civilized rules, like Polyphemus, the one that Odysseus encounters during his journey.

Ancient wall builders. Some Cyclopes were said to have constructed massive stone walls around ancient cities like Mycenae and Tiryns, which were so enormous that people later believed only giant creatures could have moved such huge blocks.

Multiple versions. Different Greek writers told different stories about Cyclopes, so there wasn't just one type, but rather several distinct groups with different jobs and personalities across various myths.
