Cool Facts
Painted Directly On. Unlike tattoos that stay forever, body paint is applied straight to your skin and is completely temporary, lasting anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks depending on the paint and how well you care for it.
Face Painting Too. When body painting focuses just on your face, it's called face painting, and it's the same idea as painting your whole body but on a smaller scale.
Full Body Canvases. Large full-body paintings are called body painting, while smaller, more detailed designs are sometimes called temporary tattoos, though they're all made with the same temporary art technique.
Art Without Commitment. Body painting lets you transform yourself into anything you imagine, from animals and characters to abstract designs, without any permanent changes to your skin.
