Wrote her story. In 1952, Grandma Moses published her autobiography called My Life's History, where she shared her journey from farm life to becoming an acclaimed artist. Her story inspired people of all ages to believe they could start something new.

Honored by universities. Grandma Moses was awarded two honorary doctoral degrees, which means major universities recognized her as an important artist and person, even though she hadn't gone to art school.
