Electricity powers modernity. In the late 1700s and 1800s, scientists figured out how to harness electricity, which led to light bulbs, motors, and all our modern gadgets. This invention connected the whole world and made almost everything we use today possible.

Computers compute anything. The computer, developed in the 1900s, can solve problems, store information, and connect billions of people instantly. It might be the most powerful invention ever because it runs almost everything in the modern world.
