Tiny Bearded Men. Leprechauns are described as very small supernatural beings in Irish stories, usually shown as little bearded men wearing coats and hats. They're known for getting into all sorts of mischief and playing tricks.

Magical Shoemakers. Over time, stories about leprechauns changed to say they were skilled shoe-makers who crafted magical footwear. These supernatural cobblers were said to work hard at their craft, hammering away in hidden spots.

Hidden Pot of Gold. According to Irish legends, leprechauns guard a secret pot of gold that's hidden at the end of the rainbow. No one has ever actually found it, which is probably why the stories have lasted so long!
