Puppets on Strings. A marionette is a puppet controlled from above using wires or strings that a puppeteer pulls to make it move and perform. The person controlling the strings is called a marionettist.

Hidden or Visible. Sometimes the puppeteer stays completely hidden behind a curtain or screen so the audience only sees the puppet dancing. Other times the puppeteer is visible, and you can watch them controlling the strings to create the magic.

Screen and Stage. Marionettes aren't just for live theater performances, they've also appeared in films and on television shows, bringing characters to life in all kinds of entertainment.

Custom String Placement. The way the strings attach to a marionette varies depending on what kind of character it is and what movements it needs to perform, so each puppet is specially designed for its role.
