Trumpet-shaped flowers. Morning glories have pretty flowers shaped like little trumpets that come in colors like pink, purple, blue, and white. They open up in the morning and close by afternoon.

Found everywhere. Over 1,000 different species of morning glories grow all over the world, from tropical areas to cooler climates. They belong to a big plant family called Convolvulaceae with many different types.

Natural climbers. Morning glories are vining plants that wrap and curl around other plants, fences, and trellises as they grow. Their twisty stems help them reach toward the sun for more light.

Quick growers. Many morning glory species grow really fast and can cover a garden fence or wall in just one growing season. Some are annual plants that die after one year, while others come back year after year.
