Australian plant-eater. Muttaburrasaurus was a dinosaur that lived in what is now northeastern Australia during the Cretaceous period, munching on plants like a giant living lawnmower.

Almost complete skeleton. Scientists found so many bones from this dinosaur that it's one of the most completely known dinosaurs from Australia, second only to Kunbarrasaurus in how much we know about it.

Queensland's fossil symbol. This dinosaur was chosen to be the official fossil emblem of the state of Queensland because it was so important to understanding Australia's prehistoric past.

Named after its home. The dinosaur's name comes from Muttaburra, the town in Queensland, Australia where scientists first discovered its skeleton.
