Prometheus

Stole divine fire. Prometheus took fire from the gods and brought it to humanity, giving people the power to create tools, cook food, and build civilization. This act of defiance made him a hero to mortals.

Gift of knowledge. Beyond just physical fire, Prometheus gave humans the ability to think, create, and develop technology. He believed people deserved the chance to improve their own lives rather than stay dependent on the gods.

Harsh punishment. The angry gods punished Prometheus terribly for his rebellion. They chained him to a rock where an eagle would eat his liver every day, and it would grow back each night to repeat the torture.
