Spins through air. Airplane propellers rotate really fast, pushing air backward so the plane can zoom forward. It's like a giant fan that pulls the plane through the sky.

Pushes boats forward. Boat propellers work underwater, spinning their blades to shove water backward. When water gets pushed back, the boat glides forward, kind of like how you move when you kick off a wall.

Angled blades matter. Each blade is tilted at just the right angle so it can grab the air or water and push it hard. If the blades were flat or straight, they wouldn't work at all.

Creates thrust. As the propeller spins, it forces a fluid like air or water to move in one direction, which creates a pushing force called thrust that moves whatever the propeller is attached to.

Pumps liquids too. Propellers aren't just for transportation, they also move liquids through pipes and pumps in factories and homes.
