Qilin

A chimera beast. The qilin is a creature made of parts from many different animals, combining features in a way that exists only in imagination and stories.

Sign of greatness. According to Chinese legend, when a qilin appears, it means something big is happening, like the birth of an important ruler or the death of a wise person.

One special horn. The qilin is part of a family of mythical creatures called lin, which are all known for having a single horn on their heads.

Spread across Asia. Beyond China, the qilin also appears in the myths and stories of other cultures and countries that were influenced by Chinese traditions.
