Made in Japan. Spirited Away is a Japanese animated movie created by director Hayao Miyazaki in 2001. It was made by a famous animation studio called Studio Ghibli.

Spirits and magic. The story takes place in a hidden world filled with kami, which are spirits from Japanese mythology. Chihiro discovers this magical realm when her family stumbles upon a mysterious place.

A girl's quest. The main character, Chihiro, must work hard in a magical bathhouse run by a witch named Yubaba. She takes this job to save her parents, who were turned into pigs by Yubaba's magic.
