Expert tree climber. Tayras are incredibly agile in forests and can leap between branches with their long tails helping them balance. They're one of the few weasels that feel just as comfortable high in the trees as they do on the ground.

Eats everything. Tayras are omnivores, which means they'll munch on fruits, nuts, small animals, insects, and even eggs. Their flexible diet helps them survive in rainforests where different foods are available at different times of year.

Solo hunter. Unlike many weasels that live in groups, tayras are mostly solitary animals that hunt alone through the forest. They're curious and bold, which helps them explore new areas looking for food.

Super senses. Tayras have sharp eyes, excellent hearing, and an amazing sense of smell to track down their next meal. These senses make them skilled hunters even when searching through thick jungle vegetation.
