Trumpet Creeper

Trumpet-shaped blooms. Campsis produces large, brilliant flowers that look like trumpets in shades of orange, red, or yellow. These flowers bloom in summer and attract hummingbirds and other pollinators with their sweet nectar.

Climbs with aerial roots. Instead of needing a trellis, trumpet creeper has special aerial roots that stick directly to walls and surfaces, allowing it to climb on its own. This makes it great for covering a fence or building wall.

Two main species. There are two species of Campsis, one native to China and one native to North America. Both are vigorous perennial plants that come back year after year and can grow quite large over time.

Loves sunshine. Trumpet creeper does best with plenty of full sun and some support like a wall or fence. It's also quite hardy, meaning it can handle different weather conditions without fussy care.
