Tiny but mighty. Wolverines are the biggest meat-eating members of the weasel family, but they're still only about 20 to 40 pounds. What they lack in size, they make up for in pure muscle and power that seems impossible for such a small animal.
Hunts huge prey. Wolverines have the incredible ability to kill animals many times larger than themselves, like moose and elk. Their strong jaws, sharp claws, and fearless attitude make them one of nature's most dangerous hunters.
Solitary wanderers. Wolverines live alone and travel huge distances across snowy forests and mountains searching for food. A single wolverine might cover more territory than most other animals its size.
Strong reputation. Wolverines have earned a reputation for being fierce and strong that's way bigger than their actual size. People have told stories about their toughness for centuries, making them legendary in nature.
Weasel family member. Even though wolverines are fierce hunters, they're part of the Mustelidae family, which also includes otters, badgers, and regular weasels. This makes them close relatives to much smaller animals.
