A legendary capital. Xi'an was the capital of ancient Chinese dynasties and was once known as Chang'an, one of the most important cities in all of Asian history.

Millions of people. With 13.17 million people living there, Xi'an is China's third-biggest western city and the absolute largest city in all of northwestern China.

Central location. Xi'an sits on the Guanzhong plain, which means it's surrounded by flat land perfect for growing crops and building a great city.
