Became king at 20. Alexander took over his father Philip II's throne in 336 BC when he was just a teenager, and immediately started building one of history's greatest empires.
Never lost a battle. Throughout his entire life as a military commander, Alexander fought in countless battles across Asia and Egypt but was never defeated, earning him a legendary reputation.
Conquered three continents. By age 30, Alexander had built an empire stretching from Greece all the way to northwestern India, making it one of the largest empires the ancient world had ever seen.
Spread Greek culture. As Alexander conquered new lands, he brought Greek ideas, language, and culture with him, blending them with the cultures he encountered and creating a lasting impact on the world.
